Already have a wishlist somewhere else? You do not need to rebuild it by hand. Wishgain can import your wishes, your profile details and your photos from your existing wishlist page in a few seconds.
1️⃣ Open the import tool
Log in to your Wishgain account and go to your wishlist page. Next to the Add wish button, on its left, you will see the Import button. Click it to open the import window.
2️⃣ Enter your username or profile link
Type the username you use on the other platform, or paste the full link to your public wishlist page there. Wishgain reads the public page, so the wishlist you are importing needs to be publicly visible.
3️⃣ Choose what to import
Under What to import, tick the items you want to bring over:
Wishes: every item on your list, with its name, price and image. Selected by default.
Profile (name & bio): your display name and bio text.
Profile photo: your avatar.
Cover photo: the banner image at the top of your page.
Anything you leave unticked stays exactly as it is on Wishgain. If you only want your items and prefer to keep your current photos, leave the photo options off.
4️⃣ Click Import
Press Import. Your wishes appear on your Wishgain wishlist within a few seconds. Review the prices and descriptions, and adjust anything you want to change. Imported items follow the same rules as any other wish, so see Cash Gift Request Restrictions if you are unsure about an item.
🔁 Importing again
You can run the import as many times as you like. Importing again updates the wishes that are already on Wishgain instead of creating duplicates, and adds any new items you added on the other platform since the last import. Wishes you created directly on Wishgain are not affected.
❓ Something did not come through?
Check that your username or link is correct and that your wishlist on the other platform is public.
Items without a price or image on the source page may need a quick edit after import.
