How Crowdfunded Gifts Work

How a group funds one wish together, why contributions reach the creator immediately, and what happens when a wish is fully funded.

Written by Ulyana

Some wishes are bigger than one supporter. Crowdfunding lets a group of people fund the same gift together.

đŸ€ How it works

  • A creator adds a wish

  • Any number of supporters contribute toward it, in any amount

  • Each contribution is credited to the creator’s balance immediately

  • Once the wish is fully funded, it is removed from the wishlist automatically

💡 There is no waiting for the goal

This is the part that surprises people. The creator does not have to wait for the total to be reached. Every contribution lands in their balance as soon as it is paid, exactly like a normal gift.

That also means contributions are not held in escrow, and like every gift on Wishgain they are voluntary and non-refundable.
