Creators who receive payouts must complete a one-time identity verification (KYC). Supporters who only send gifts do not need to verify.
đĄ Why verification is required
Verification keeps Wishgain safe for everyone and is required by our payout partners and applicable financial regulations. It also protects your earnings: a verified identity is bound to your bank account, so nobody else can withdraw your balance.
âł Grace period
When verification is required, you have 5 days to complete it. During this period you can continue receiving gifts, although payout access may be limited. Once the grace period ends, payouts are paused until verification is complete.
đȘȘ How to complete verification
Open the verification prompt in the app.
Enter your legal name, date of birth and country of residence.
Upload a valid government-issued ID (passport, national ID or driver's license) and complete the short selfie check.
Most verifications are approved within minutes. You receive an email when your identity is confirmed.
đ Data security
Verification data is handled by a specialised identity provider, stored encrypted and used only for compliance and security. Records are retained for the period required by law.
