β What Happens If a Fan Issues a Chargeback?
If a fan files a chargeback, Wishgain immediately contacts them to gather details. We then submit transaction evidence to our payment processor. In most cases, disputes are resolved directly through the bank using the submitted documentation.
If needed, we work toward an amicable resolution between the creator and the fan, depending on the individual case.

If the transaction involved fraud (for example, a stolen credit card):
Recovery of funds is often not possible
Fraudulent charges are reported to authorities
Funds are returned to the original cardholder
The payment processor blocks the card to prevent further misuse
π What Happens to Gifts During a Chargeback?
If a chargeback occurs on a gift purchase:
The item is immediately placed on hold
The purchase cannot be completed until the dispute is resolved
If the chargeback is confirmed as fraud, the purchase cannot proceed, as the transaction was unauthorized.
π° What Happens to My Wishgain Balance?
If a chargeback is confirmed as fraudulent (e.g., stolen card or illegal payment method):
The related funds must be removed from your Wishgain balance
This is required by payment processing regulations and card network rules.

No. Under no circumstances should creators encourage fans to file chargebacks.
Users who advise fans to issue chargebacks risk:
Account freezing
Suspension or permanent removal from the platform
Chargebacks should only be initiated in legitimate cases through proper banking channels β never as a workaround.
